Like the second day of Easter and the second day of Christmas, the second day of Pentecost has no religious significance. Still, it is traditionally a day off.
People often travel away at Pentecost, and therefore Monday in Norway has become a day off.

Swedish Flag Day is the Swedish national day and is celebrated on 6 June. The day is in memory of several events that were important to the Swedish nation. It was introduced by law in 1982. In 1996 it became a salute day, and in 2005 it became a public holiday. History goes back further, as it already in 1916 became unofficial flag day.
